OLS Manufacturing Co. Pte Ltd is the proud supplier of the Motor-Operated Dampers (MOD) to more than 100 Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations in Singapore. The dampers which were designed and tested in accordance with recognized International Standards has successfully passed all of the stringent requirements and technical specifications worldwide.

We supplied Kallang Paya Lebar Expresway road tunnels with six ventilation buildings. The Tunnel Ventilation Dampers which we manufactured were 10m x 10m and it consisted of 30 modules.

The Jakarta MRT is currently in its first phase. We shared our experience and knowledge on tunnel ventilation systems to the team managing this project. Thereafter, the Jakarta MRT Authorities, Consultants and Contractors visited our OLS factory in Joo Koon Circle, Singapore where we showed them our Quality Assurance Plan. Materials and Manufacturing process employed were of the highest-quality. The dampers are assured to function for many years in relatively problem-free operations.

Marina Bay Financial Centre is a purpose-built financial hub designed to seamlessly extend Singapore’s downtown district. The 380,000 square feet land is a breath-taking blend of three office towers offering nearly three million square feet of prime Grade A office space, two residential towers of approximately one million square feet comprising 649 luxury apartments and retail space of 176,000 square feet – all surrounding a beautiful waterfront park. Connols-Air is proud to be the supplier of Volume Control Dampers, Grilles and Diffusers and approximately 8000 VAV boxes for this project. In addition, we also supplied 20000 light troffer diffusers for all three towers.

Connols-Air supplied 2000 Acutherm VAV diffuser for the building which are fully mechanical, electrical-free, and environmental-friendly. The VAV diffuser system allowed for 33% fan power savings compared to the conventional type VAV box system.

Singapore Expo Exhibition Hall

Singapore Expo is the largest meetings, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions venue in Singapore and is one of the largest and most completely equipped Centre in the whole of Asia. There are ten large multipurpose halls, each being 10,000 square meters in size, giving a total floor space of over 100,000 square meters. All available space is interconnected and on ground level and column free.
Singapore Expo is not only the largest meetings, incentives, conferencing, exhibitions venue in Singapore; it is also one of the biggest and most completely equipped Centre in the whole of Asia. There are ten large multi-purpose halls, each spanning 10,000 square meters in size, giving a total floor space of over 100,000 square meters. Every available space is interconnected from ground level and it is column- free. Ten conference halls, ranging from 89 to 844 square meters can accommodate 150 to 1,000 people. The diffuser is mounted on the walls of the hall to fill up the 100m length of the hall. Krantz studied the hall layout using CFD and later supplied Jet Nozzles to cover up the 100m length of the hall by side wall mounting.

Tokio Marine Centre

Combining aesthetic novelty with operational efficiency, the Tokio Marine Centre building received a Green Mark for Buildings Award, under the Goldplus category, at the Building and Construction Authority’s Awards 2008. Located at 20 McCallum Street, the 124.5m high building accommodates 21 storeys and a basement which generates about 14,500 sq m of gross floor area.
The design for the headquarters of the Tokio Marine Group, combines architectural innovation, structural integrity, efficiency in the use of energy and water, as well as comfortable and healthy work spaces, reflecting the company's philosophy of environment-friendliness.
The 'green' features of the building include the 'exo skeleton' façade design, energy-efficient design of the Air-conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) system, the lighting system, and the elevators and escalators as well as the implementation of water-saving techniques such as collection of condensated water from the Air Handling Units (AHUs), rainwater harvesting, and extensive use of water-efficient sanitary fittings. These are expected to contribute to overall annual savings of 830,000 k/Whrs of energy and 5,400 m³ of water.
Connols-Air supplied 600 Acutherm VAV diffuser which are fully-mechanical, electrical-free and environmentally-friendly. The VAV diffuser system also helped to save 33% fan power compared to the conventional type VAV box system.

Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall

The Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall is one of the oldest performing arts venue in the Central Area of Singapore. It is a complex featuring two buildings and a clock tower joined together by a common corridor. The oldest part of the building was first built in 1862, and the complex was completed in 1909. The complex has undergone several renovations and refurbishment, mostly recently in 2010 when the complex was closed for a four-year renovation project. It re-opened again on 15 July 2014.
The buildings in the complex serve as a location for big public events, political meetings, exhibitions, musical & stage performances, and for a brief period as a hospital. The concert hall is often used as a performance venue by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO), and the complex is managed by The Esplanade Co Ltd. The Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall was also gazetted as a national monument on 14 February 1992.
Connols-Air supplied Krantz’s circular floor diffuser to the concert hall to create a comfort micro-climate and low-noise environment.

The Star Theatre

The Star Theatre is fitted with high-end audio, video and production lighting systems for an exceptional audio-visual experience. It heightens the audience’s enjoyment of a wide-range of amplified music and speech events, as well as large-scale musical, theatre and dance performances.
Built to replicate a traditional horseshoe shape, the auditorium offers custom-designed seating, including stalls and two circle levels. The last row of seats at the upper circle level is just 56 meters from the stage, creating an intimate ambience for this grand 5,000-seat venue.
Theatre sightlines are maximized and acoustics are designed for complete audience enjoyment. Imagine the crisp clarity of speeches in an auditorium supported by the audio system of studio recordings with ‘live’ broadcast quality.
This project required the use of NC25 floor diffuser. Connols-Air supplied 5000 of Krantz’s circular floor diffuser to create a comfortable micro-climate and low-noise environment.

Changi Airport Terminal 4

Changi Airport’s Terminal four is the first terminal to boast a slew of initiatives aimed at enhancing passenger experience and operational efficiency. The two-storey passenger terminal building also includes two multi-storey car parks with 1,700 parking. Other facilities constructed include a two-storey taxi holding area, and three vehicular and pedestrian bridges spanning from Airport Boulevard to access T4.
A 68-metre high ramp control tower was also built to enhance air traffic controllers' management of aircraft movements in the apron and taxiways around the terminal. Completed in less than three years, the T4 project involved over 4,000 workers at the peak of its construction works. Currently, T4 boats self-service and automated options covering check-in, bag-drop, immigration clearance and boarding. It is built to handle 16 million passengers a year.

This is OLS Manufacturing Co. Pte 4 sty new building which done on Dec 2016. Founded in 1973 with the HQ & Factory was situated in Jurong, Singapore. Has a total built-up area of 36,000 sq. ft on a land area of 55,000 sq. ft. Currently we have about 100 production workers & 40 office staffs and new office cum factory with built up area of 73,000 sq ft.
We have installed our Krantz floor displacement outlet at second floor board room. It provide a high thermal comfort, good air quality and low velocity microclimate condition. Krantz floor displacement outlet also used for energy saving purpose and low noise design.
For our lobby area, we have installed 2 type of exposed chilled ceiling combination to utilise the application of different area. Krantz cool which have higher cooling capacity and flexible to ceiling layout. For the internal area, we are using the Multifunction AVACS chilled ceiling model which can provide low air draft and low noise level environment. For the entrance high volume space, we are using the Krantz adjustable radial outlet which have high penetration throw with small temperature and velocity gradient. With the adjustable feature, it allow the adjustment to meet the different discharge height and required air velocity.
